- Naming
The Winter Park Foundation sits behind a lot of what residents love about the city and gets named in almost none of it. Parks, cultural programs, environmental work. The site had to introduce that record to residents and donors who had never heard of them.
The problem
The old site read like a pamphlet. Visitors could not tell what the Foundation funded, how a gift was used, or who decided any of it.
What we did
We led the redesign with Jeffrey Blydenburgh and Mark Levchenko, who brought the civic history and the board alignment. We rebuilt the structure around impact: what has been funded, what is being funded now, and who governs the money.
Design and voice
An editorial layout with room to breathe, closer to a magazine than a city hall. The copy sits between civic formality and a neighbor talking to you. One ask at the end: support a legacy of good.
Where it landed
winterparkfoundation.org now works on a phone, states the mission in the first screen, and gives a first-time visitor and a 30-year benefactor the same clear path in.
