"I help founders get out of their own way, so the business can finally grow past them."
I spent 15 years running a design and strategy agency.
350 product launches. Clients from local founders to Amazon, the NBA, and MLB.
From the outside, it looked like it was working.
Three years ago I quit the things I used to disappear into. Nobody made me. I couldn't keep numbing what was happening underneath.
I grew up watching my parents trade time for money. Forty-hour weeks for fifty years, saved carefully so we'd have a good life. It worked, and I'm grateful for it.
I came to believe the deepest way to honor that was to build real freedom, in time and money, instead of inheriting the same trade.
What actually changed the business was letting go of control.
I hired people more talented than me and trusted them with the work. It got better, and more profitable.
Getting sober mattered. The real lever was my own internal state. That's what moved everything.
The other piece was a room. People finding their own truth out loud, every Wednesday.
The websites were only ever deliverables. They were never the thing I came here to do.
Today that room is Open Room, a free weekly call I host for creative entrepreneurs doing the same work of getting out of their own way. Hosting it every week is what sharpens the one-on-one work I do with founders. It's built on three places the work tends to break: coherence, reflection, and discernment.
I live in Winter Park, Florida, with my wife Anne and our son James. When I'm not working, I'm usually with the fam, making something, or on the rings.
One on one work, built around wherever the problem lives. Starts with a free 45-minute call, no pitch.
