Kannyn MacRae was launching a product brand straight into Amazon, where a shopper decides in about two seconds from a thumbnail. Pop Design needed a name, a face and a listing system that could survive that.
The problem
Amazon flattens everything. Same white background, same grid, same price filters. A new brand with no reviews and no recognition has one shot at looking like it was made by people who care.
The name and mark
Kannyn is a mountain biker, so the brand took its energy from that: joy, motion, gear you actually trust. The Pop monogram runs on an altered Arista Pro, drawn to feel like the round power button on a new toy. The o smiles. It shows up on products, boxes and galleries as a signature you can spot at thumbnail size.
Type and system
Oswald, Poppins SemiBold and Roboto Condensed, chosen to read at a glance on a phone and hold up in an instruction manual.
Packaging
The mantra prints on the box along with a real phone number for support. Spot gloss on the mark gives it a lift on a shelf, which matters when a customer opens the box and decides whether to leave a review.
The listings
We built more than 31 Amazon galleries with Kannyn: infographics, Enhanced Content, lifestyle photography, icons and copy. Product descriptions and manuals were written long on purpose, to cut support calls and protect the listing from algorithm penalties.
Hero shots were A/B tested against flat white variants to see which framing converted.
The back end
Stock runs through Amazon FBA. A Shopify storefront ships automatically through the same pipeline, which gave Kannyn customer data that Amazon normally keeps to itself.
